"As an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I work in person and remotely to resolve QuickBooks accounting issues and train business owners and students in QBO and QB Desktop. I incorporate my practical experience as a finance director, a director of administration, and a full-charge bookkeeper, among others, to equip students with not only knowledge of the software, but also with an understanding of how to apply the software to solve common QuickBooks accounting problems and establish correct workflows and protocols.

I am a retired masters-level educator, program manager, and special needs counselor, with an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling and post-graduate coursework in Vocational and Disability Studies), and over 20 years experience in elementary, secondary, and college settings. I have taught business courses (business English, business law, transcription) and computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook). I worked as a Disability Services Coordinator at a state university and coordinated an office assistant training program for disabled adults, teaching in the classroom using adaptive equipment. I also worked as an elementary school 1:1 special education aide, tutored elementary through high school students in various subjects, and tutored 1:1 at the community college level (study skills, history, English, composition, anatomy, and psychology).
