Hello, I’m Jesse! I graduated from the University of San Diego and received my BA in English (Creative Writing emphasis). As an undergrad, I was fortunate to study abroad in Oxford, England. I obtained my College Counseling Specialized Certificate from UCSD and am a proud member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).

I was a writer (technical and freelance) and later transitioned to education, where I have nearly two decades of experience. I have worked as an English/GED Instructor with SDUHSD, Director of Tutoring Club in Encinitas, CA, and an SAT/ACT Reading/Writing Instructor and College Essay Editing Partner at Hamilton Education in San Diego, CA. I founded my college consulting business, focusing specifically on college application advising and essay writing support, PSAT/SAT/ACT prep (Reading and Writing Sections), and AP English (Lang and Lit) tutoring. I feel blessed to do what I am most passionate about full-time: guiding students in their college prep journey.
