Hey friends, I currently only offer asynchronous proofreading, editing, formatting, and feedback services on already-written work. I do not currently offer synchronous online or in-person lessons.

I specialize in creative, academic, business, and ESL proofreading and accept most document formats. I use Track Changes in Microsoft Word and Google Docs, providing both a tracked copy and a clean copy of all completed documents. I can work with tight timelines and will always get your document back to you as soon as possible.

Throughout my career, I have successfully edited nearly one million words. Recently, I completed the ACES Certificate in Editing and the Knowadays Becoming a Proofreader course. Additionally, my journalism degree and subsequent work experience with local newspapers allowed me to hone my proofreading and copy-editing skills. I currently work as a contract proofreader, editor, and formatter (InDesign and Word) for Proofed. I also own and operate my own small publishing company, Pursuit Press.

I graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a bachelor's degree in print journalism and French and a master's in creative writing and publishing from Western Colorado University.

However, my love of language started in high school when I took my first Spanish class. Shortly after that, I started German in college, then Mandarin at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, and Arabic and French at the University of Toronto. Studying these languages with vastly different grammar structures allowed me to understand English more intimately.
