"Hey there! I'm Faith. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a major focus in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. I am a certified EC 7-12 Science educator in the state of Texas and I am working on my Masters of Biology, as a stepping stone to a Doctorates. My overall goal is to become a professor with a focus in microbiology or general biology.

I have 5 years of tutoring experience over a wide range of math and science subjects including biology, physics, chemistry, algebra 1 & 2, geometry, and Calculus. I have also tutored SAT prep for 5 years and have updated my methodology for the new SAT format and testing concepts. I was also an educator in the high school setting for Biology and Pre-AP biology for 2 years.

My experience as a tutor is predominantly 1-on-1 sessions with a few group settings (in SAT prep). As a teacher, I had a classroom size of 35 students in each of my 6 periods. My tutoring ranges from 7th & 8th graders to high school seniors. As a teacher, my classes were predominantly freshman and sophomores.
