"Hi! I’m Jonathan, a private English Language Arts tutor with over a decade of classroom and 1:1 experience. I specialize in reading comprehension, academic and creative writing, grammar, and ESL support for students from upper elementary through adult learners. I hold an MFA in Writing, a BA in Theatre, and a Type 09 Illinois Teaching Certificate endorsed in English and Drama for grades 6–12. My training includes the TrinityCert TESOL (accredited by Trinity College London) and a Level 5 TEFL Diploma (completion expected August 2025).
