"Born in Montenegro and raised in New York, my passion was, and is, always teaching. With over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I approach learning in a personalized manner. I taught abroad in Kosovo at an international school before continuing in NYC. Shortly after, I worked in a multitude of teaching positions until joining the Department of Education as a classroom teacher. In the classroom, I worked with general education students as well as students with special needs in an ICT classroom setting. Through setting high expectations and hard work, over 95 % of my students received 3’s and 4’s on the New York State ELA and Math exams.

I attained my Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences in Economics, Statistics, and Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.), and earned my Masters of Science in Education (Childhood Education) at Hunter College. I am a certified childhood educator of Grades 1-6.

As a tutor, I am driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education. I see myself as more than just an instructor; I hope to guide and inspire students to not only master content, but to love learning! Let’s embark on a journey to uncover and grow our unique strengths and abilities.
