"I am currently a 3rd grade teacher working with both general education students and students with disabilities. This is my 10th year teaching grades Pre-K to 5th grade students. I have previously worked in the Department of Education in the Bronx as well as districts in Westchester County.

During my time as a head teacher, I have had the pleasure of working with an especially diverse group of students and staff from around the world, many who were English-language learners. Working with this population influenced and shaped my teaching style. I learned to differentiate my learning plans to fit the needs of the students who sit in my classroom. I regularly practiced differentiated instruction as I develop lesson plans that cater to both English and non-English speaking students within all the basic subjects.
