"I am certified in ESL and in French and I have taught Haitian Creole. I have many years of experience teaching adults and children in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings--mostly English and French including regular high school English classes and ESL classes. I have helped students improve their writing, speaking, and comprehension of French and English. On the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview, I was rated "Superior" in French.

Because I am quite fluent in French and Haitian Creole and I have also studied Spanish, I am well acquainted with the common difficulties in learning another language.

I have completed all the coursework for my MSEd with a concentration in TESOL. I have quite a bit of experience. I am very familiar with the type of essays needed for the SAT and with the grammar needed to succeed on standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. My personality is easy-going, patient, and cheerful.
