"Hello! My name is Jennifer and I am a full-time English teacher and a part-time professor at our local community college. I have been teaching high school English for the past 4 years and love being able to help students reach their goals and understand the material presented to them. I have been actively tutoring students for EOC English 1 and English 2 for the entirety of my teaching career and have had success in having students reach proficiency.

In my experience, I have found that students who are struggling with material usually need to approach it in another way. I try to get to know my students so that I can find the angle that best helps them learn the material. I love being able to help and I love teaching.

I have a Texas state certification in English Language Arts and Reading for 8th to 12th grade. I also have been certified to teach Literature through the local community college. I have taken several courses in Grammar and in Literature and am qualified to teach or tutor both subjects.
