"I have a degree in English Secondary Education and a Teaching Cert from Trinity International University. I was an English teacher for the past two years. I have worked with high school and middle school students mainly, but I also have experience with editing for more serious venues like my college newspaper and also for my job as a writer for InterVarsity.

I enjoy working with a broad range of age groups. Getting to help students one on one was always one of my favorite parts about teaching because I could really customize everything to fit and engage the student. If one approach didn't work, we'd keep going until we found one that did. The reason why I left teaching was due to the high workload and classroom management. As a writer and former English teacher, I've had to become well-versed in a number of different subjects and skills in order to help my students. Beyond this, I've had tutoring experience before and also helped several friends with writing during college.
