"I’m a nationally recognized, award-winning educator with over 14 years of experience helping students excel in AP U.S. History, strengthen their academic English, and prepare for major exams such as APUSH, TOEFL, and the USCIS interview/exam.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, a Sixth-Year advanced graduate degree, and a post-graduate certification, all in teaching and learning. I am also TESOL certified. My background includes classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, and international experience at a bilingual school.

Teaching is truly my passion. I love watching students grow at their own pace and gain confidence as their skills strengthen. I believe deeply in the value of education and in creating supportive, student-centered learning experiences that help learners move forward with pride.

My APUSH students consistently outperformed national averages, with recent pass rates above 75% in challenging exam years. I use AP Institute training and research-based practices to build strong historical thinking, writing, and document analysis skills. My goal is not just exam readiness, but a genuine understanding of American history.

I also work extensively with multilingual learners. My approach is patient, individualized, and focused on academic vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension, and speaking confidence. I’ve helped many students strengthen their English enough to thrive in American universities or reach their target TOEFL scores.

I additionally support adults preparing for U.S. citizenship, guiding learners through civics content, interview questions, and the reading/writing components of the USCIS exam.
