"I began tutoring when I was in college; I tutored at the local high school. I realized early in my career that teaching came naturally to me. My first job out of school was in tech support, and part of that job was to provide training classes to the employees of the organization. In jobs after that, I found myself in training roles - either as part of the job or specifically as a trainer.

I worked for Executrain of Atlanta and The Princeton Review. I received formal training from both organizations, and I was certified by both of these organizations to conduct their classes. I have been a trainer for Lotus/IBM, Piedmont Healthcare and, currently, for Kaiser Permanente.

I scored 100 on both the Algebra and the Geometry NYS Regents exams. I took calculus, linear algebra, statistics & probability, and micro- and macro-economics in college, at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

I studied Spanish for four years in high school. I enjoy Spanish and have made it a personal hobby. I have travelled and spent time in Spain, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and in the past two years I studied Spanish in Antigua Guatemala and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
