"I hold two master’s degrees in education: a Master’s in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s in K–12 Administration and Curriculum & Instruction from Duquesne University. I am certified in Pennsylvania as an Elementary K–6 Teacher, a Middle Level English Language Arts Teacher (grades 6–9), and a K–12 School Administrator. In addition, I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is a structured, multisensory, and research-based method for teaching reading and spelling.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching and supporting students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My work spans kindergarten through middle school, with a focus on early literacy skills, reading intervention, and helping struggling readers close gaps in decoding, fluency, and comprehension. I have taught in public school classrooms, developed individualized reading plans for private tutoring clients, and coached parents and teachers on how the brain learns to read. My instruction is grounded in the Science of Reading and uses structured literacy techniques, multisensory activities, and explicit, systematic instruction to ensure students build strong foundational skills. I also served as a math specialist for two years in a local school district.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. I create engaging lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs, making learning interactive and confidence-building.
