"I am a certified teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Currently, I work as a Mandarin instructor for International Language Institute (ILI) and LanguageBird. LanguageBird is considered to be the premier online world language program for middle and high school students.

Mandarin is my native language and I have a bachelor degree in Chinese Language and Literature. I have taught dozens of English-speaking students across a wide range of age groups, occupations and nationalities. My past and present student have provided positive evaluations and recommendations. They think of me as responsible, knowledgeable, patient, and good at communication.

I have gathered much practical experiences in helping beginners establish a good foundation and receive quick progress. Additionally, I like to make each lesson interesting, fun and engaging for both private tutoring and large class sizes.

Our classes will cover reading and conversation, writing Chinese characters and eventually essays. There will also be ample opportunities to expand your knowledge on Chinese history, culture and literature in the process of language learning. I will enjoy working with you to establish appropriate learning objectives, provide suggestions on selecting materials tailored to your needs and abilities.
