"Hi, I'm Angela! I earned a bachelor's degree in earth and environmental science and a master's degree in teaching. During my 9 years as a middle school science, 1 year as a 6th grade math teacher, and 2 years as a math specialist, I've worked with students of all abilities. Multiple administrators and educators have complimented me on my patience and ability to modify work for every student. When I meet a student, I first assess his/her areas of strength and weaknesses. Next, I formulate a plan to address his/her needs. Together, we create an organized notebook for references. Finally, I create engaging lessons and extra practice to master the skills. You will see immediate progress in your child's/ your work, understanding, and confidence which is what makes education such a rewarding career.

When I work with small groups or individual students, I always ensure that the work is challenging but accessible. My students always see their successes and learn from their mistakes. We thoroughly analyze problems and use as many solutions as possible. This ensures a competent mathematician with many tools to utilize in the future.

Growing up, my father would take us rock hunting, and I fell in love with the earth and all of the amazing events that occur on it. During my 6 years of teaching, my main focus was on earth and environmental science. To this day, I stay up-to-date with current events and hope to instill a passion in my favorite branch of science.
