"I am a certified middle and high school math teacher with specialized training in dyslexia and language-based learning differences, including Orton-Gillingham–based structured literacy instruction. I work with students who have struggled in traditional classrooms—both in math and literacy—and help them build clarity, confidence, and real understanding.

My experience includes teaching and supporting students in grades 4–8 in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings, including in a school dedicated to students with language-based learning challenges. This background has shaped my approach: structured, explicit instruction that strengthens foundational skills in reading, writing, and math rather than relying on memorization or guesswork.

Many of my students come to me feeling frustrated, behind, or convinced they are “not good at school.” I focus on rebuilding foundations, strengthening executive functioning, and helping students understand how they learn so they can become more independent and confident.

Each session is tailored to the student’s specific needs and goals—whether that’s closing skill gaps, supporting dyslexia-related challenges, preparing for coursework, or reducing anxiety around school.
