"I am a state certified mathematics teacher that has been teaching classes from Algebra I to AP Calculus for the past 25 years. For the past 11 years I have been teaching Geometry and Precalculus (including Trigonometry) to high school students. The Precalculus class is a dual enrollment class with the local community college. I have taught AP/Dual Enrollment Calculus for more than 5 years as well. This year I traded two Statistics classes for two Algebra II Honor's classes. It's been a fun journey to get back into the Algebra II curriculum after a short break.

I enjoy working one-on-one with students after school or during breaks in the school day. I gave up coaching to be available to work with students after school. I am currently a private mathematics tutor to a 14 year home school student.

In 2008 I earned a Master's of Mathematics Education degree from James Madison University. After graduation I was contacted by the Mathematic's Department Head and offered a position to teach Elementary Functions (equivalent to high school Precalculus course). I accepted and was an adjunct professor at the university for six semesters.

Beyond the classroom, I have created videos for IXL Learning. I have created videos for middle school mathematics, as well as some for Algebra I and Geometry.
