"Come READ and SPELL with me! My name is Allison and I am a Certified Orton-Gillingham Instructor and an educator of over 16 years. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an Early Literacy Endorsement. I am currently a Reading Specialist and focus on intervention and remediation. I have extensive training in structured literacy approaches and the science of reading. My teaching career began as a classroom teacher for 10 years before becoming a reading specialist and dyslexia coordinator for my district the last six years. I have a passion for teaching reading and unlocking the potential in each and every student!

I began tutoring in 2018 and specialize in Kindergarten to third grade. I provide one on one or small group experiences and use evidence-based instructional methods and materials. I am also able to provide screening and assessments for diagnostic needs and parental support.
