"My name is Annalise Asen, and I love working with students! I've had numerous experiences working in education for over a decade, even before receiving my degree. I've taught in church Sunday schools and Awana clubs, was a teacher's assistant through my middle and high school years, and helped out at youth groups.

I've received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Biblical Theology from Moody Bible Institute. I'm currently wrapping up my fourth year of teaching, and I am currently employed at a large private school. I have taught first, second and third grade, at times in combined classes.

For every year I have taught, I've tutored students outside of school in addition, typically in areas such as reading, math and phonics.

I required tutoring myself in high school, and I believe it is an important and valuable service to offer. I hope that I am able to work through Wyzant to create the same educational and encouraging environment that I experienced." less...
