"I’m a certified Reading Specialist with over 25 years of experience working in public elementary schools. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Literacy, and I specialize in helping students build strong reading foundations — especially those with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, or who simply need extra support to thrive.

I’m trained in a variety of evidence-based programs, including Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Foundations, Really Great Reading, UFLI, and I have completed LETRS training. These approaches allow me to tailor instruction to meet each child’s individual learning needs using structured, explicit, and multisensory methods.

Whether your child is struggling with phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, or comprehension, I bring a calm, supportive, and engaging approach to every session. My goal is not only to strengthen literacy skills, but also to build confidence and a love of reading.

I offer one-on-one virtual or in-person sessions (depending on location) and can work with students from kindergarten through middle school. I also provide support with IEP goals, progress monitoring, and home practice strategies.
