"I am a Certified Russian Teacher. I have Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Linguistics. I have been tutoring since I was in my fourth year at the university and can't imagine my life without teaching and sharing my knowledge with those who are really interested in learning a foreign language.

I have been teaching English as a second language for college and university students for more than 25 years as well as tutoring students of all ages from kindergarten to adults. As a university teacher I instructed specialized ESL classes: Pronunciation, Grammar, Academic Reading and Writing Skills, TOEFL Preparation. I prepared high and middle school students for their final exams. As a tutor I focus on personal goals of each student and tailor my lessons to your abilities and needs so you can learn effectively.

I was born and lived most of my life in Russia. Now living in California I would like to share my love and knowledge of the Russian language and culture with anyone who might have interest in it. I am prepared to teach students of all levels from beginners to advanced and all ages from 6 to 70. You will learn not only grammar and vocabulary, how to read, write and speak Russian but also cultural references and peculiarities of the language.
