"Hi! I'm Mary. I received my Bachelor's degree from the College of Mt. St. Vincent and my Master's degree from Manhattanville College. I am certified in New York State as a both a Math Teacher and as a Special Education Teacher (grades 5-12). I have been teaching in a Dutchess County School District for the past 10 years. Over those years I have taught math to students in grades 6 through 12. For the past 7 years I have taught Algebra to students with disabilities. I have also taught an after school SAT Math prep class and have tutored students one-on-one for both the SAT and the Algebra Regents Exam. I have taught and tutored both in person and online.

I understand every student has unique needs and create my sessions based on your specific needs. My goal when I work with students is for them to not only gain proficiency in math, but to increase their confidence.
