"I am currently working as a certified teacher at Killian Middle School in Lewisville ISD. I am certified in English Language Arts and Reading and Social Studies. I have spent the last 14 years working with students through one-on-one and small group tutoring in Lewisville ISD, Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD, and Dallas ISD. I've worked in public schools for the last two years.

Although my certifications are in English/Reading and Social Studies, I tutor in most subjects at the elementary, middle, high school, and collegiate levels. I have had many students be extremely successful on STAAR tests in Reading after working with me as a tutor or a classroom teacher. I love teaching and I'm very skilled at reaching the student where he or she is at.

I am certified in English Language Arts and Reading grades 4-8. I also have tutored students at the high school and collegiate level for 4+ years. I also have worked with several elementary students in reading comprehension and test-taking strategies for Reading and STAAR for the last 6 years.

I taught 7th grade Reading and STAAR prep in Garland ISD during the 2016-2017 school year. I have worked extensively with my students for the last 2 years on test-taking strategies and how to break down STAAR questions and passages in order to help increase STAAR scores. My students during the 2016-2017 school year scores improved, on average, between 15%-20% from the previous year's test to that year.

I am certified in Social Studies in grades 4-8. I student taught in American History and Texas History. I have taught Contemporary World Cultures at Killian Middle School since Fall 2017. I have 6 years tutoring experience in 9th grade world geography, 10th grade world history (regular and AP), 11th grade U.S. History (regular and AP), and 12th grade Government and Economics.
