"Hello! I tutor K-4th grade students in reading, phonics, writing and math in Kyle, Tx or online. Lessons are customized for each child's academic needs and are engaging with learning games, activities and crafts! My teaching philosophy is to meet students where they are academically and then through fun, perseverance and encouragement, students grow to meet their learning goals!

My experience includes working in education for 20 years! This includes 13 years as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teacher in Hays CISD and in private schools, 3 years working in Special Ed as an instructional assistant in Hays CISD, 1 year substituting in NBISD and SISD (grades K-6th) and 3 years of tutoring full-time in my own business! I obtained my degree from Texas State University with a specialization in early childhood education in 2003. I am a certified teacher in K-4 grade in all subjects.
