What do I bring? I bring over 25 years of teaching experience to you from two different states. I have taught in very diverse backgrounds with various types of learners, including those with special needs. I also bring a passion for science. My first (subject) love is chemistry. It is a challenging, but inspiring. I hope to share that passion with you. I also provide follow-up to see how you are progressing.

I have a strong math background through calculus. I try to make math applicable beyond the memorization of steps to see relationships.

While I am certified in all sciences, I have a passion for the physical sciences, such as chemistry and physics. I have been certified in chemistry since 1996, and I have taught since that time. I understand the frustration that students feel, and my experience has helped in overcoming those obstacles. I have been very blessed to have had students perform very well on state tests, chemistry competitions, and in college. I have taught students of a variety of backgrounds and learning styles. I have tutored both high school and college students, and was certified to teach AP Chemistry in 2002.
