"Hello my name is Charles T, I have 10 years of experience using Arabic as a researcher and analyst and I have a Masters Degree from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, and a Bachelor's from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

I have studied Modern Standard Arabic for the past 6 years including 2 years at the University of Minnesota and a year in Cairo, Egypt. In addition to MSA I am also conversational in Egyptian Colloquial Arabic and Levantine Collquial Arabic. My study included a stint in the Middlebury Summer Arabic program in 2012, where I completed high intermediate training, and advanced training at MIIS. In addition to learning Arabic, I taught beginning Arabic while at MIIS to fellow students as part of a volunteer program. In addition, from 2009-2010 I served as a TA in the Arabic department at the University of Minnesota. I really enjoy the Arabic language and imparting that knowledge to others.
