"Hi, I am David and I am an environmental process engineer with bachelor's and master’s degrees in chemical engineering as well as an FE. I am fundamentally motivated and consistently astonished by our ability to learn and develop new knowledge. One thing I have come to appreciate as I have progressed through my learning journey is the value that teaching has for both solidifying my understanding of topics as well as the power that it can have to inspire others and new forms of thinking. I firmly believe that we are all unique individuals with unique perspectives and abilities to process and interpret new information. I seek to develop and guide these perspectives in all of my students.

Fueled by a strong belief in the power of STEM education, I offer approximately eight years of proven tutoring experience. My background includes valuable experience with several leading tutoring companies, where I honed my ability to adapt my teaching strategies to individual student needs and learning paces. I've helped elementary students grasp concepts in subjects like basic science and early numeracy, middle schoolers tackle pre-algebra and physical science, high school students excel in courses such as AP Physics and Calculus, and have often supported undergraduates in subjects like Organic Chemistry and Linear Algebra.
