"Chemistry and Biochemistry can feel intimidating, but they do not have to! My name is Josiah, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences. I currently work as a Lead Researcher in the Department of Structural Biology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where I apply chemistry and biochemistry concepts daily in real world research. This means my background is not just academic; I help students understand not only the “what” but also the “why” and “how” behind the material.

As part of my research work, I regularly mentor postdoctoral fellows, fellow scientists, and technical staff in chemical and biochemical concepts and laboratory techniques. I also frequently present research findings and published scientific papers to diverse audiences.
