I use illustrations, whiteboard cartooning, and manipulatives (lab materials) in order to make the transition from concrete to abstract math as easy as possible.

I know the Next Generation Science Standards and the B.E.S T. Math curriculum quite well. I know places where they align. I know how to support the struggle to learn Algebra and apply these skills to Chemistry.
