"I have an MS in Business and Science from Keck Graduate Institute and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California Riverside. I specialize in math, and science tutoring as high most sciences and math also AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, Precalculus, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Microbiology, and Biochemistry. I can also help in Spanish and US History and various Social studies. My students enjoy the sessions and I keep fun and engaging learning sessions by showing videos, drawing, and giving my analogies as appropriate. I rarely use jargon but explain what is needed for the subject in a down-to-earth way. As a result, my students improve dramatically getting As or 2 letter grades higher during my sessions.

Generally, as a tutor, I always try to have open communication so I make my sessions fun and honest. I then access your skill level and build up needed basics and add advanced concepts as needed. One of my biggest goals is to build up the confidence of a student and develop good habits I know will lead to success.

My philosophy is to build up basic skills and confidence this is the crawl phase and then get them running as soon as possible. The way I teach science is by using analogies, pictures, and videos to help students visualize concepts. When a student truly understands the amazing scientific process I find it impossible not to be amazed and engaged. Cutting through jargon or technical language is very key in understanding science subjects which is why I make sure each student knows their basic vocabulary and fundamental concepts. I take this approach to all the topics I teach and find it enjoyable.

I care genuinely about my students and want them to succeed as badly sometimes more than my students. I won't give up on a student and will push them to the top. I have pushed my students to the top from Ds to Bs, Cs to As.
