"What makes me the tutor you should choose?

One, I have the credentials and plenty of experience. I have a Ph.D. in chemistry from Texas A&M. In addition to tutoring online and in-person for many years, I have taught in university and college classrooms in multiple places in the US. These things make me not only knowledgeable about chemistry course content but required me to determine how best to approach each topic or unit.

Second, one of my Meyer-Briggs strengths is adaptability. Different students are challenged by different things; for one it might be visualizing abstract concepts, for another it might the math required. I excel at meeting students where they are at, determining what students comprehend, where they struggle, and how I can build up their proficiency and especially their confidence.

Third, my reviews and evaluations over many years reveal specific skills I have. I make complex things understandable. I create an environment where students are very comfortable answering and asking questions. I am patient, I am good humored. I regularly give students proven strategies and approaches to problem solving and test-taking.

Fourth, I get results. I have seen students increase whole letter grades (or two) after working with me.
