I began working as a tutor 2 1/2 years ago at Brigham Young University. I took courses to become certified as a tutor and received 2 levels of certification from the College Reading and Learning Association. I tutored students one-on-one in chemistry and physics courses at BYU each week. In addition to private tutoring, I have worked as a TA in chemistry and physics tutorial labs for 2 1/2 years. I studied Biophysics at BYU and took several advanced chemistry and physics courses, and I received a chemistry minor.

I am applying to medical schools currently while supporting my wife in her final year of school at BYU. I really enjoy teaching, especially one-on-one, and I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing my students grasp the material and succeed in their coursework. I love tutoring, and for me, it is a great way to make new friends and earn some money in addition to helping other students out.
