"I enjoy working with students, strengthening any weaknesses and building their confidence. I will be happy to work with students of any levels or ages (preschool through grade 12). I meet with the student at their house or at a public place/local library.

During the last 10+ years, I have been working with students of all ages as a tutor and also a substitute teacher. My teaching experiences have included working with students at all levels including students with learning disabilities and ADD/ADHD. As a tutor, most of my work has been with high school chemistry, biology, algebra and geometry and SAT preparation. Most of my substituting has been at elementary and middle schools. One of my most important goals is to improve the student's confidence in handling the math and chemistry problems so they feel ready to handle the problems on their own. I am patient with the students and work at the speed appropriate for each student, making sure they understand the material.

If the student feels they need more than one session for that particular week perhaps before an exam, I do my best to arrange an extra meeting.
