"Hello! My name is Michael, and I am a chemistry professor at a small university in Indiana. I have been teaching general and inorganic chemistry full-time since 2023, and have consistently been tutoring/teaching since my time as an undergraduate. My goal is to help you grow in your chemistry skills and become more confident in your ability to solve problems and think critically.

As a tutor, I use active learning and problem-solving strategies to develop your knowledge of chemistry. As we work problems together, I tailor each session to your needs by identifying concepts that you already understand and focusing on areas that need additional explanation. Through this process, you will develop the skills needed to think critically and generate independent solutions to concrete problems. In each tutoring session, I strive to foster an atmosphere where you feel confident and comfortable as you engage in the learning process. I will also encourage and push you to reach your full potential, and though that can be uncomfortable in the short term, I believe it is important for reaching your long-term goals.
