"After graduating from Scripps College with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, I decided to join the education field as a High School Chemistry teacher. Teaching and tutoring are significant joys in my life.

I have been a chemistry teacher now for 19 years. I've taught all levels of chemistry - from on-level and honors to AP to IB. I also hold a master's degree in secondary chemistry education and am certified to teach high school chemistry. Because of my extensive career as a classroom teacher, I am uniquely able to break down concepts in clear ways, make connections between topics, and provide additional practice problems to support understanding. I love supporting students with a wide range of learning styles, academic backgrounds, and language needs.
