With over 18 years of experience teaching high school chemistry, I specialize in helping students meet their goals, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and actually enjoy learning how chemistry explains the world around us.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in Science Education, along with full teacher certification. Over nearly two decades in the classroom, I’ve taught students in grades 9–12 in both U.S. and international schools, working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and language abilities. I have taught a wide range of chemistry levels, including AP and IB chemistry.

When I begin working with a student, I start by identifying what they already know, where they feel unsure, and what their goals are. From there, I tailor each session to fill in gaps, build confidence, and make challenging topics more approachable.
