"I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a strong academic foundation in both the sciences and the humanities. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Toronto, where I double majored in Chemistry and minored in History. I also earned my Bachelor of Education in Chemistry and Science Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto and completed TESL certification through Oxford Seminars. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master of Social Service (MSS) degree at Bryn Mawr College, with a focus on counseling and mental health, which informs my patient, personalized approach to tutoring.

I bring over 10 years of teaching experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I taught AP Chemistry and middle school science to over 500 students in the U.K. at Hitchin Boys' School and Rickmansworth School, as well as AP English Literature students at Mentor College in Mississauga, Canada. I have also been a guest lecturer at the University of Massachusetts Boston and Emerson College, leading workshops and discussions in creative writing and composition. In addition to my teaching experience, I am a published writer with work appearing in Kweli Journal, Chamber Four, and other literary journals, and I have received awards such as the Norma Epstein Creative Writing Award for Best Short Fiction.
