"I am a networking professional with a wide range of job experience. My first networking job involved managing primarily Linux-based web and mail servers for an ISP (Internet Service Provider). In this role, I learned to code using PERL and developed APIs accessing a SQL database back end, as well as general HTML coding. Over the years, I shifted away from coding and web development and into a networking hardware setup role. I returned to college to continue my education, where I earned CompTIA certifications in Network+, A+, Linux+, and Security+.

I was a field technician for about three years, and then migrated into the classroom. I am currently an instructor teaching computer networking and preparing the next generation of network professionals for their Cisco CCNA certification.
