"I’m a graduate student in Constitutional Government, Civics, and Law at Utah Valley University and a summa cum laude Political Science graduate from Brigham Young University–Hawaii. I help middle- and high-school students (and early college students) strengthen writing, argumentation, and civics/government understanding.

I previously served as a university teaching assistant in the Political Science Department at BYU–Hawaii, where I supported up to 120 students through one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, and individualized feedback. I regularly helped students clarify complex concepts, improve analytical writing, and prepare for exams by adapting explanations to different learning styles.

My tutoring focuses on:

Academic writing & argumentation (thesis development, structure, clarity)

Civics & government (Constitution, Supreme Court cases, political concepts)

Moot Court preparation (case understanding, oral argument, rebuttal practice)

Reading comprehension and study strategies

My approach is structured, collaborative, and confidence-building. I aim to help students understand how to think through problems, not just memorize material. I often begin with a short readiness session to identify strengths and gaps, then create a clear plan for progress.
