"I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a BA in Painting and Drawing and a BS in Civil Engineering. I work as a Civil Engineer in water and wastewater infrastructure and my hobbies include painting and drawing. While in college, I worked as a Peer Mentor in the Tutoring Center and I tutored and mentored fellow college students to help them improve their grades. My wife and I have a 9-year old daughter and I regularly tutor our daughter in elementary math. At work I get mentor younger engineers as we work on projects together.

My approach to tutoring is to try to meet the student at their level and ask questions to make sure I understand their current abilities and learn where they may need some support.
