"Hello! My name is Caleb, and I’m currently a senior at George Fox University majoring in Civil Engineering, where I’ve maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.67 while also competing as a college athlete on the football team. My background in engineering has given me a strong foundation in courses such as calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and engineering statistics. It has also taught me patience and creative problem-solving skills that translate directly into helping students learn challenging concepts in a clear and relatable way.

Outside the classroom, I work at an after-school program for middle school students at Northwest Christian Church in Newberg, where I help build meaningful relationships and often guide them through their math homework. They know me as “smart engineer Caleb,” and I really enjoy making math less intimidating and more approachable for them. I’ve also gained valuable teaching experience by collaborating daily with my fellow engineering classmates to tackle tough problems together, which has taught me a lot about the different ways people learn and how to break down complex ideas step by step.

My goal as a tutor is to bring patience, encouragement, and practical problem-solving skills to each session, whether it’s helping with algebra, physics, pre-calculus, or anything in between.
