"I have a B.A. in Philosophy, and I was employed as a college-level writing tutor for three years. I love getting to see my students' confidence and ability grow, whether over the course of years or just one hour-long session. Whether I'm helping to proofread a final draft or brainstorming ideas with a student, I want to meet students where they are and empower them to do their best work. The most rewarding feedback I receive is when a student tells me that I've helped them understand something for the first time by explaining it in a way that makes sense to them.

In addition to my college-level writing experience, I am also trained as a volunteer literacy tutor for beginning readers.
