"Hi! I’m Mo — a Software Engineer at Amazon and a tutor who specializes in helping students truly understand math and computer science, not just get through assignments.
I’ve been programming since 8th grade, earned a 3.84 GPA in CS, and was a top-reviewed TA for intro programming and data structures, where I explained new concepts and helped students build strong foundations. At Amazon, I mentor interns and new engineers while working on real-world systems across backend and full-stack development.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and highly personalized. I focus on breaking down complex ideas clearly, building intuition, and helping students learn in a way that fits their thinking style — especially those who are anxious, overwhelmed, or have ADHD or other learning differences.
I work with middle school, high school, college, and adult learners — from catching up in Algebra to preparing for AP CS or learning Python from scratch.
If you're looking for someone who explains things clearly, builds confidence, and makes learning feel manageable, I’d love to help. Reach out anytime with questions!" less...
