"Hi there! My name is Steven, I'm from Cleveland, OH and recently graduated with my MD and MS in Applied Anatomy at Case Western Reserve University. I have five years of hands-on anatomy education at middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. While my expertise lies in neuroscience and anatomy, I am also confident in tutoring physiology, biology, academic writing/proofreading, research, test-taking strategies, and American History.

My teaching philosophy is centered around "starting with why." I believe that for students to best understand, retain, and exhibit mastery of a subject, they first need to recognize "why" that content is important through it's practical applications. I really enjoy seeing the moment where ideas "click" for students, and I hope my passion for science and teaching can help facilitate those moments. I am excited to meet students where they're at, devise achievable goals as a team, and have fun learning together.
