"I am not the type of student that can memorize math and move on to the next chapter. That is the reason I can teach students well. I explain the logic behind every concept so they can actually understand and apply the concept in various examples rather than simply memorizing it. I have taught math to students in various age range, from kindergarten to high school. I mostly taught Algebra and Calculus. I acquire biggest sense of accomplishment when I can tell that the student understood the concept of math. I tutor in a calm and orderly way. I notice students' weak parts well and focus mainly on them.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, ranked 16th in U.S., with a Mechanical Engineering degree. I earned A's in all my math classes in high school and got 5's on AP calculus AB and BC. Therefore I am comfortable with all elementary, middle school, and high school math. During college, I have helped students in middle school with their Algebra coursework. All of them received A's in their math classes. Last summer, I tutored high school students AP calculus BC, and all of them received 5's on their AP tests. I also have experiences in teaching students in kindergarten math. I am confident that I can lead students to understand new or confusing concepts in math.
