"I have always been passionate about writing and the college application process. It can be a very stressful time for students with such a significant transitionary period of their lives, but my goal is to help ease students’ anxiety and guide them throughout this process with understanding, collaboration, and a straightforward, goal-oriented approach. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BS in Chemistry with ACS Certification. While in college, I spent 4 years volunteering to tutor and assist high school seniors one-on-one with their college application process and writing/editing their personal statement essays. My focus is on developing a student's confidence and helping to tell the story of their unique journey in their applications. I prefer to first have a very open discussion with a student to understand their goals, answer any questions or concerns they might have about their writing and the application process, and then work together to formulate a plan for how we can proceed to meet their goals.

Since graduating college, I’ve worked in varying sides of the medical field, but have landed in the field of oncologic clinical research where I work to create clinical trials. This position, primarily focusing on the actual writing of a protocol for a clinical trial, has allowed me to develop my writing skills in a way that is not only tailored to a scientific approach for the medical field, but also in a way that is straightforward, concise, and thorough.

Additionally, since I decided to step away from the path of becoming a physician, I have been pursuing a professional career as a songwriter. I believe my pursuit of songwriting and music allows me to be experienced as a storyteller and have a deeper understanding of how to be able to help students tell a unique story in only just a few lines.
