"Hi! I'm Anna and I'm so excited to meet you! I am currently a 4th year medical student at a US medical school, and I love working with pre-medical students, as well as high school seniors, to support them in applying into the programs of their dreams. The process of applying to college and medical school can be very daunting, but I am a firm believer that your unique story and dedication to this future profession matters above all else.

When I applied to medical schools, I knew that I had a lower-than-usual GPA because of one personally challenging year in undergrad. Because of this, I doubled down on my personal statement and supplemental essays, and received interview invitations at schools including NYU, Columbia, and Cornell despite my GPA being out of range for these schools. With the combination of a strong MCAT score and even stronger application essays, I was able to overcome my sub-par GPA. I'd love to help you do the same! My favorite thing about being an application editor is helping my students' unique stories shine to admissions committees. Because of this, I am coming back to Wyzant to help students prepare for their AMCAS applications, pre-write secondaries, and prepare their activities sections before the summer application season. Outside of this, I am available on a limited basis to support MCAT preparation. I scored in the 97th percentile of the MCAT with a 132 (100th percentile score) in P/S. The MCAT is a very comprehensive exam, but it is very doable with a personalized, time-efficient schedule. I often help students create that schedule, and support them in reviewing important content as well as test-taking strategies. Due to my class schedule, I am only taking a limited amount of biweekly students at this time.
