"Hello! My name is Hunter. I graduated magna cum laude (3.6) from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. I continued my education there and graduated with a Master's degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry and Synthesis. I was fortunate enough to have an outstanding professor in the field, so much so that I eventually took part in their research group. However, it saddens me that most students often report not having satisfactory outcomes with the course material. Due to this, my goal is to be engaging and forthcoming with my clients to the greatest possible extent. I am willing to prepare content as needed based on individual needs and preferences to better enrich the student with the content.

I have one year of tutoring experience as an Appointment Tutor in Calculus I and General Chemistry I/II, working directly with the students alone or in groups, and another year in College Algebra. I was also a Teaching and Learning Assistant in General Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry I, and Biochemistry for a total of four years, supervising and assisting students both in the classroom and in the laboratory. As a result, I have both hands-on and textbook knowledge of these classes so that I can better answer questions and help students make sense of what they learn.
