"Overview:

I have a M.S. degree in Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and I am currently working on my PhD. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Physics with Honors and Highest Distinction and a B.A. in Mathematics in 2020. I have been tutoring for 6 years independently in-person and online as well as through Chegg Tutors and more recently here on Wyzant. I most often tutor undergraduate and high school physics and astronomy, but also have experience tutoring undergraduate and high school math and test prep for ACT, SAT, and GRE math, and MCAT physics. I enjoy finding the right way of communicating complex topics that resonates with individual students!

Teaching experience:

I worked as a Teaching Assistant for PHYS 118: Mechanics and Relativity at UNC-Chapel Hill where I led groups of students through problems and labs. I took a course at UNC on teaching methodology in physics. I served as a mentor for the UNC ADMIRES (Assisting in Development and Mentoring an Innovative Research Experience in Science) program where I tutored middle school students through a science research project. And, I worked as an Astronomy Educator and Outreach Assistant at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center for 4 years.

Mathematics:

I have taken several algebra, geometry, logic, calculus, and probability courses for my B.A. in Mathematics. I also tutored undergraduate students in Calculus in the UNC Math and Physics learning center. Physics:
