"I’m a Rice University graduate with a double major in Political Science and Finance, and I have extensive experience tutoring students of different ages in writing, college counseling, and academic skills development. I work closely with students to strengthen their writing across subjects, navigate the college admissions process, and build confidence in their ideas and communication.

Much of my tutoring focuses on writing support, whether that’s improving structure and clarity for English or history essays, developing strong arguments, or refining grammar and style. I aim to meet students where they are and help them feel more confident expressing their thoughts, both on the page and in conversation.

I also specialize in college admissions counseling. I’ve helped students craft compelling Common App personal statements, develop thoughtful supplemental essays, and prepare for college interviews. As a former Rice University admissions interviewer, I enjoy helping students understand what schools are looking for and how to present themselves authentically and effectively.

In addition to my tutoring experience, my professional background includes roles at the Council on Foreign Relations and Goldman Sachs, which has strengthened my analytical, writing, and mentoring skills. I especially enjoy working with students who are interested in political science, finance, or related fields, but I’m happy to support students across a wide range of interests.
